Actual real life Mary Poppins/sleep fairy!
We spent six months trying EVERYTHING to get our baby to sleep. She woke every 20-40 minutes. The longest I’d ever slept in six months was two hours when my husband would take her whilst I ‘napped’.
I was quite honestly on the verge of a mental breakdown. I knew for the sake of my baby’s development and happiness but also my health, depended on changing something. I was so against getting a ‘sleep consultant’ in, I am very pro baby led and attending to all their needs.
I spoke to numerous professionals (doctors, therapists) and friends before deciding to go down the route of a consultant. There were three sleep consultants that I looked into but something pulled me to Jen, and I thank my lucky stars we went with her.
From the initial free consultation, to the days leading up to her arriving, the night she spent with us and the follow up afterwards, she has been a god send. I cannot tell you how much she has helped change our lives. I know that sounds dramatic but when you are living off so little sleep, your world changes. We’ve gone from 20-40 min sleep times, to 6:30pm – 6:30am with a feed in the middle of the night – I was previously feeding 5-6 times a night minimum.
Jen was hands down the best money we have spent in our parenting journey and I think will ever be. Her detailed knowledge of babies, sleep and routine is immense. She has so much more experience than we realised and only found out all of it from the night she spent with us during the overnight program.
